U.S. Special Operations Command South (SOCSOUTH) held its annual 9/11 Memorial Cup competition, paying tribute to the resilience, bravery, and sacrifice of those lost on Sept. 11, 2001.

“We all just want to recognize and remember 9/11 — the tragedy, the loss of lives, and the resiliency of the country and how we came back from it. Remembrance of 9/11 reminds me that sometimes adversity can be painful, but it makes us stronger as Americans and in support of our Nation,” said Command Senior Enlisted Leader Command Master Chief Daniel L. Boyles, U.S. Navy.

SOCSOUTH personnel and their families gathered not only to honor the memory of the fallen but also to strengthen the bonds that unite them as a team.

This year’s Memorial Cup served as a powerful reminder of the importance of unity, resilience, and remembrance.

As SOCSOUTH commemorated 9/11, the event stood as a testament to the enduring spirit of those who continue to serve and protect the nation.
