U.S. Representative Carlos Gimenez presented Mayor Steven Losner with a Certificate of Special Congressional Recognition during the State of the City address Tuesday, September 29, 2026 at Homestead City Hall.
With the evening’s theme, “Homestead, Forward, Progress and Possibility”, both men spoke of major accomplishments during the past year and exciting plans ahead.
The range of projects for vital infrastructure through the goal of F-35As coming to Homestead Air Reserve Base (HARB) drew applause from attendees.
