Why are you running for Mayor of Palmetto Bay?

As a lifelong resident, Palmetto Bay is my home. I’m running because our Village needs steady, reliable leadership that focuses on sound management rather than internal political conflict. Residents deserve a local government that operates transparently, respects taxpayer money, and prioritizes quality of life across every neighborhood.

I stepped up to restore fiscal discipline, protect our single-family residential character, and ensure Village Hall stays accountable to the voters it serves.

What are the three most important issues currently facing Palmetto Bay residents?

First, restoring fiscal responsibility by eliminating wasteful spending, protecting our financial reserves, and ensuring taxpayer dollars fund core community needs.

Second, managing development responsibly to preserve neighborhood character while pressing Miami-Dade County for coordinated traffic and infrastructure solutions.

Third, strengthening public safety resources so our local police force has everything required to keep our streets and parks secure.

What experience best prepares you to serve as mayor?

My background as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), business executive, and former Village Councilmember gives me a distinct combination of financial expertise and practical governance experience. I know how to audit budgets line-by-line, safeguard public funds, and cut through government bureaucracy.

During my council tenure, I consistently demanded accountability and ensured residents had a real voice in local decisions.

What would be your first major priority if elected?

Conducting a complete fiscal and operational assessment of Village operations to ensure taxpayer dollars are being spent efficiently. We must guarantee total transparency, safeguard our emergency reserve funds, and direct resources back toward core services — like local police coverage, road repairs, and park maintenance.

How would you address concerns such as traffic, development, infrastructure, public safety, village finances and quality of life?

I will enforce a disciplined, common-sense approach across every department.

For development and infrastructure, I would enforce smart-growth policies that protect single-family zoning and ensure utilities and drainage keep pace with surrounding growth.

On traffic, I would work closely with regional partners and Miami-Dade County to optimize traffic signals, reduce pass-through speeding, and manage local congestion.

On finances, I would apply my CPA background to maintain low tax rates, eliminate non-essential administrative spending, and build stable reserves.

For public safety and quality of life, I would maintain strong funding for police patrols and community parks, preserving the quiet, safe suburban environment our families enjoy.

How do you plan to remain accessible and accountable to residents?

Accountability requires open channels of communication. I will hold regular, informal neighborhood town halls, maintain an open door at Village Hall, and ensure residents have clear access to information before major votes take place. Listening to residents will always come before political agendas.

What distinguishes you from the other candidates?

I bring proven financial credentials as a CPA combined with prior experience on the Village Council. I understand local balance sheets, know how to manage public funds responsibly, and focus on practical solutions rather than political posturing.

My sole focus is protecting taxpayers and keeping Palmetto Bay safe, stable, and resident-focused.

Anything else voters should know?

Palmetto Bay was founded on a commitment to strong local representation, safe streets, and high quality of life.

Ahead of the Nov. 3, 2026 election, I ask for your support to bring disciplined management, steady leadership, and true accountability back to Village Hall.
