Westminster Christian edged out an impressive 16-11 victory over a surging Immokalee on the road.

The Warriors got off to a fast start, putting points on the board first thanks to an Eli Medder 38 yard field goal.

Next, Tobias Moss hauled in a 40-yard touchdown pass from quarterback Christian Matos to put Westminster Christian ahead 10-0 after one quarter.

Jordan Cronkrite scored a touchdown in the second quarter when he rushed for an 18-yard score to make it 16-0 after a failed PAT at the half.

Immokalee woke up offensively, however, in the second half, starting with a field goal and a safety in the third quarter.

A fourth quarter touchdown inched the game closer, but the Warriors’ defense blocked the extra point and held on to win the game.
