The Florida Panthers will recognize breast and cervical cancer survivors during their fifth annual Pink in the Rink celebration Saturday, October 17, at Amerant Bank Arena.
The event coincides with the Panthers' 6 p.m. matchup against the Seattle Kraken and is presented in partnership with Baptist Health Cancer Care and Promise Fund.
Activities will include a pregame recognition ceremony, specialty jersey auctions supporting charitable efforts and information about breast cancer screening.
Baptist Health's mobile mammography program will also participate in the pregame activities.
Among those being recognized is U.S. Army veteran and breast cancer survivor Staci Cavalcante, who will be honored through the Panthers' Heroes Among Us program.
