Coral Shores' varsity girls volleyball team returned to action after a four-game suspension this week.
The Lady Canes were suspended by the school for "alleged violations of athletic codes of conduct," the details of which were not made public.
One coach close to the situation told the News Leader that players had "broke team rules," resulting in their suspension.
The time away from the court led to four forfeit losses.
Carrollton, Gulliver, Archbishop Curley, and Keys Gate all picked up wins thanks to the Coral Shores suspension.
The Lady Canes returned to the court against Pine Crest after their suspension concluded.
It has not been announced whether the suspension and subsequent forfeits will result in a post-season exclusion for Coral Shores.
The school's JV girls volleyball team was unaffected by the suspension and continued its games as scheduled.
