Ice skating is coming to Homestead.

As part of Winter Wonderland, there will be a full outdoor rink in Homestead from November 21 to January 10 at Losner Park.

Grand Opening Night will be Saturday, November 21, from 5 to 10 p.m., and will include the city's annual tree lighting. After opening weekend, the winter village and ice rink will operate Tuesday through Sunday and will be closed on Mondays.

The event is free except for skaters. General admission for skating is $22. For children ages 4 to 13, the price is $10, while Homestead residents will pay $12. Discounts will also be available for military members and essential service providers.

There will be an adventure park for children, including activities, games and inflatable bounce houses. The event will also include a food hall, market village and food trucks.

The event was approved by the Homestead City Council and is expected to be a major holiday celebration for the community.
