The Redland Middle School robotics team has done very well in recent competitions.
The school's robotics team won the 2025 South Florida VEX Robotics State Championship as well as the 2025 NRSC Georgia Deaf and Hard of
Hearing Robotics State Championship. It also earned first place in the 2025 First Place Robotics Champions at the Miami-Dade County Youth Fair.
"This year's accomplishments truly reflect the progress our teams have made over the years," said Neah Krigger, coding and robotics teacher at Redlands.
In addition to robotics, the Redlands Esports (Gaming) teams excelled, placing 2nd at SECME and 3rd at the Youth Fair.
“This year also marked a significant milestone: our drone teams competed for the first time at the Youth Fair. I'm thrilled to say they placed 1st overall, won the Best Overall Middle School Award, and were honored with the Ralph Bryan Aviation Award of Excellence," said Krigger.
