Homestead residents can enjoy an afternoon of music, food and seasonal festivities when Central Makers Markets brings its Hispanic Heritage and Halloween Fiesta to Miami Brewing Company on Sunday, October 18.
Scheduled from 3 to 8 p.m., the gathering will feature local food trucks, vendors, live entertainment and activities for children and adults.
The celebration combines two October traditions, bringing Hispanic culture into the spotlight while welcoming families preparing for Halloween.
Car clubs are expected to participate in a trunk-or-treat activity for children, while adults can enjoy salsa dancing and musical performances.
Local food vendors and small businesses will also have an opportunity to showcase their offerings to visitors.
The event is part of Central Makers Markets' recurring third-Sunday gatherings at Miami Brewing Company. The market series provides a place for local vendors, food businesses and community members to come together throughout the year.
Beyond the entertainment, the gathering offers residents an opportunity to support small businesses while enjoying a community celebration close to home.
For South Dade families, events like these provide another way to experience the area's cultural diversity, introduce children to local traditions and spend time together without traveling outside the community.
Central Makers Markets also has additional themed gatherings planned for the coming months, including a motorcycle-themed event in November and a barbecue cook-off in December.
The Hispanic Heritage and Halloween Fiesta takes place Sunday, October 18, from 3 to 8 p.m. at Miami Brewing Company, 30205 SW 217th Avenue in Homestead.
