Our beloved Marguerite Ann Diffee passed away peacefully on November 14, 2023, at the age of 91, with her children at her side.
"Maggie" was born in Syracuse, NY to George and Marguerite Mehlek. She graduated from Nursing School, enlisted in the Air Force and met her husband, Hugh David Diffee "Diff" in Orlando, FL.
They had three children and spent many years in Homestead. Maggie worked at James Archer Smith Hospital and received her BS degree in Health Care Administration from FIU in 1975.
She also worked as a Cruise Ship Nurse for NCL. After Hurricane Andrew, Maggie moved to Stuart, FL where she resided for 27 years.
Maggie is survived by her daughter, Suzanne Arve (Michael) and her sons, David Diffee and Michael (Joan) Diffee. She is survived by 6 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Maggie was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh David "Diff," and one grandchild, Michael “Chad” Diffee.
Funeral Mass and Interment will be at a later date in Williston, TN alongside Diff and Chad.
The family wishes to express their sincere appreciation for all the prayers during the time of Maggie’s passing.
