Lorrie Michelle “Shelly” (Hubbard) Tyre a cherished mother, daughter, cousin and friend passed away on January 5th, 2024. Leaving this world too soon with loved ones by her side after a brief but courageous battle with cancer. She was 52 years young.
A lifelong resident of Homestead, Florida, Shelly was born to Pamela Joyce (Hammond) Hubbard on May 31st, 1971 in Coral Gables, Florida.
Her humor, sass, wit and one-of-a-kind personality will endear Shelly to the hearts of all who knew her. Brave and tough, Shelly managed to light up the room until the end. Shelly will be fondly and lovingly remembered.
Shelly will live on in the hearts and memories of her devoted children. Her eldest son Cole Clayton Tyre, and twins Jesse Wayne Tyre and Josie Dale Tyre; her devoted caregivers and cousin Angela Myers Briand (Lee), dear friend Cindy Lorenzo (Joel), and sister-in-law Holly Tyre Hilson (Rob), as well as a host of family and friends. Benny, her devoted pup will be lost without her.
Shelly was preceeded in death by her mother, Pamela (Hammond) Hubbard, siblings Jill Denise Hubbard, and Harry Wayne Hubbard Jr.
A celebration of life will be held on February 17th, 2024, at 2 pm at Redland Golf and Country Club to honor Shelly’s memory.
