The beginning of the holiday season also signals that winter vacation for kids around the country is not far down the road. Just in time for the break in the school year, South Florida’s

premier kart track – AMR Homestead-Miami Motorplex – has officially opened its gates to the public, which includes enhancements such as a second track specifically designed for rental karts.

The opening of AMR Homestead-Miami Motorplex is a result of a new long-term partnership between Vantage Karting Group (VKG) Entertainment and Homestead-Miami Speedway that allows VKG Entertainment to assume an operational and managerial role of Homestead-Miami Speedway’s premier kart track. AMR Homestead-Miami Motorplex is located directly across from Homestead-Miami Speedway on One Speedway Boulevard in the same location as previous ownership.

Participants of all karting levels are invited to take on AMR Homestead-Miami Motorplex’s multi-configuration 0.7-mile sprint course

alongside friends and family. For $25, drivers will have the opportunity to take on their competitors head-to-head during a 10-minute race against the clock. At the end of the session, drivers will be ranked in order of fastest lap time.

In addition to providing an exhilarating racing experience for friends and family, AMR Homestead-Miami Motorplex and its fleet of rental karts are available for group and corporate events. The facility can also serve as the host site for business opportunities, such as team-building exercise for co-workers.

To participate in a karting session, drivers must be a minimum height of 60 inches. There is no age restriction for drivers. For more information on AMR Homestead-Miami Motorplex, including days and hours of operation, please visit www.AMRMotorplex.com. To make individual or party reservations for the kart track, please call 833-527-8267.
