Judy Garner, 77, a long time resident of Homestead passed away on March 13th peacefully at her home in Old Town, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband Douglas "Oscar" Garner.

Judy formerly owned and Operated three Beauty Salons in Homestead; J's Hairstylist, Plaza Beauty Salon and Alice's Beauty Salon.

She is survived by two brothers Tony Reffelt (Sandy) of Charlotte Harbor, Miro Prejil (Leah) of Washington D.C., and one sister Margaret Klaus (Sam) of South Carolina.

Judy is also survived by five children; Greg Parker of Old Town, Laura Barner-Miller (Skip) of Lake Placid, FL., Tim Parker of High Springs, Jimbo Parker of Homestead, and Crystal Garner of Old Town.

Two step sons, Doug Garner of Nashville, TN, and Scott Garner of Cross City. Grandchildren, Lauren Barnes-Coyle, Rachel Parker, James C. Parker, Shelby L. Parker, Scotty and William Garner. Two great-grandchildren Claire & Charlotte Coyle of Clarksvillve, TN.

A Memorial Mass was held at Holy Cross Catholic Church on March 19th in Cross City and Burial will be held at a later date in Wimauma, FL.

Judy was a cosmotoligist for 52 years. After retiring she became very active at her church. She was loving, caring, and compassionate to all that crossed her path.

Her best friend, Marge Bidwell sang "Amazing Grace" and "If You Only knew" to honor Judy. Rachel Parker; granddaughter of Judy sang " Supermarket Flowers".

Judy will always remain in the hearts of family and friends.
