James (Jim) Ira Jackson passed away on November 15, 2017 after battling cancer. Jim was born in Japan on August 28, 1948 to Clifton and Evelyn Jackson.
He was an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the Everglades and worked for Everglades National Park for 25 years. He was an Army and Air Force veteran who gave over 30 years of service to our nation.
He was preceded in death by his mother Evelyn Jackson and brothers Buddy and Harry.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years and best friend Deb, his
two sons Justin (Danielle) and Jacob (Abby), and his four grandchildren - Braun (10), Gage (9), Daisy (6), and Willow (3).
He will be greatly missed by those he left behind. Services will be held at one of his favorite places- the creek and woods behind his home in Parrish, FL.
