OK Feed Store was established in South Miami in 1926. In 1983 it opened its doors at 22801 Krome Avenue.

This loyal business is one of the longest running Purina Dealers, a relationship that started in 1940.

By widening Krome to four-lanes, FDOT has taken 30 percent of the property frontage via Eminent Domain.

This will make ingress and egress to the property unsafe for customers. Receiving and or delivery of goods from that location will become impossible without turning lanes from the north and an exit lane from the south.

These conditions have forced OK Feed Store to close their Krome Ave. location and consolidate operations with their other store, Sunset Country & Western Store located at 16300 SW 296 Street in Homestead. The OK Feed Store telephone number and email address remain the same.

According to the owners, “Although Purina has not remained loyal to us, we have taken the high road and remain loyal to them, carrying a full line of Purina products during this consolidation. We are truly grateful to all of our wonderful customers and sincerely apologize for the suddenness and inconvenience. We hope our loyal customers will provide us with the opportunity to continue earning their business, one customer at a time.
