This year the Homestead Family YMCA is joining with Main Street's Holiday in Losner Park and the City of Homestead for our annual Jingle Bell Run 5K on Saturday, December 2nd.

It starts at 5:30 pm at the Homestead YMCA and ends on Krome Avenue in front of the Seminole Theater during the Holiday in Losner Park Festival.   It will be a twilight run with festive Christmas decorations and costumes, glow sticks, and shoe bells ending at Losner Park for the annual lighting of the City's Christmas tree.

Registered participants in the race will receive a Dry Fit T-shirt, a commemorative medal, shoe bells, refreshments and a chance to place for an awards medal.  All this is taking place for the great cause of providing financial assistance for YMCA services benefiting children, youth and adults in our community.

What a wonderful way to finish a race and start the Christmas season with live music and performances, fun activities, visits with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and a open air movie on the lawn!  Fun for the entire family!  Entrance to Holiday in Losner Park is free to the public and we highly recommend that runners bring their entire family to enjoy this Christmas season event.
