Homestead police are investigating three similar armed robberies of businesses in Homestead.

Security cameras at the three robberies recorded images of a suspect who appears similiar physically.  The robberies also appear to be related in that during each of the robberies, the suspect committed an armed robbery, at a commercial place of business, and proceeded to ziptie the employees before fleeding with large amounts of cash, and in one case merchandise.

The first business on Mowry Drive was robbed  August 18 at 7:30 am.  The next business was robbed a week later, August 25, on NE 8th St. at 10:30 am. That business was robbed again last Friday, Oct. 20 at 6:00 pm.

In each case the suspect wore gloves, dark pants, a dark hoodie covering their head and a bandana mask.  In the photo above from the most recent robbery, the suspect is also wearing a distinctive dark colored baseball cap with a red brim and logo.   Suspect is described as a black male, in his 20’s.
