Graduation is a moment of pride for a student as well as the parents who look on with a sense of pride.

Honor the successful achievements of the graduate in your life with delicious celebration foods. These appetizers are quick, effortless, tasty and attractive. Make them in advance with ease and love.

Cheddar Cheese Board

Cheddar cheese is a cow’s milk cheese that is relatively hard, pale yellow to off white and sometimes sharp tasting. Cheddar cheese originated in England and is popular for snacking. It is often used melted for sauces and cooking.

Cheddar Sharp

Suggested fruits for Cheddar:

   Apples

    Strawberries

     Red or Green Grapes

Suggested bread or crackers:

French bread rounds, toasted

Port Wine Cheese Ball

2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, softened

2 cups Cheddar cheese shredded

1 stick of butter

2 teaspoons horseradish

1 tablespoon fresh chives, chopped

1 cup nuts, chopped

¼ to ½ cup Port Wine.

Mix all ingredients until well-blended and form into a ball. Roll In nuts. Chill and serve with fresh fruit or crackers.

Boursin Cheese Mushrooms

Boursin Cheese Mushrooms

1 dozen mushrooms

12 seedless grapes, red or green

1 cup Boursin cheese

1 cup Parmesan cheese

Wash mushrooms and break off stems. Fill each mushroom cap with a grape. Top with Boursin cheese and sprinkle Parmesan on top. Broil until cheese melts and is bubbly.
