With the big game day coming up, it’s time to get together with friends, family, neighbor’s and football fans to enjoy and cheer for your favorite team.

There is nothing like good fun food too make this happen. Always popular are the dips, wings and to add a new addition, individual layered cups.

By using these layered dips, no one has to double dip! No matter who you cheer for, it all about the game day food.

1st Down Chili Bean Casserole

3 pounds of ground beef

2 small onions chopped fine

2 tablespoons oil

2 cans of Joan of Arc Caliente Chili beans

1 can diced tomatoes

3 cups grated sharp cheese

1 package Frito chips

1 package Dorito Taco chips

Brown beef and onions in oil. Add beans and tomatoes, simmer for 20 minutes. Cool. In a large casserole, layer cooked meat mixture, cheese, then crushed Fritos and Doritos chips on top. Bake 350 degree for 30-35 minutes. This can be prepared ahead of time and baked just before serving. Quick and easy.

1 16 ounce can refried beans

1 package taco seasoning 1 cup guacamole (fresh or store bought)

1 8-ounce container sour cream

1 cup salsa (bought or homemade)

1 cup Cheddar cheese

½ cup tomatoes diced

¼ cup green onions

¼ cup black olives

In a small bowl stir together refried beans and taco seasonings until combined. Layer about 2 tablespoons of beans, guacamole, sour cream, salsa and cheese into each cup. Gently push down each layer. Top each cup with, tomatoes, green onions and black olives. Serve with Tortilla chips.

20 chicken wings

1 cup Apple Cider Vinegar

½ cup soy sauce

1 teaspoon diced garlic

1 small onion chopped

1 teaspoon lemon pepper

Mix the all the ingredients together. Add the wings and marinate for 3-4 hours. Grill them to perfection. Divide the wings in half. Put 10 wings in one bowl tossed with ½ cup barbeque sauce and 10 wings in another bowl tossed with ½ cup Franks Hot Pepper sauce. By serving half mild and half spicy, everyone can enjoy the taste they prefer. Serve with ½ cup ranch dressing mixed with ½ cup blue cheese for dipping.

Queen’s Tip: These recipes go great with your favorite game day beverage, serve ice cold.
